Timely Claim Filing

Timely Filing: 90 days/30 days

Claims for services provided to Community Link, Inc. members are considered timely if they are submitted to WPS within 90 days of the date of service, or 90 days from the date on the explanation of benefits from a third-party payer such as Medicare. Community Link, Inc. is not obligated to pay for services if the claim is not filed in a timely manner. 

If untimely filing occurs due to claim re-processing issues with WPS and the claim was originally submitted on time, please contact Customer Service for further assistance at 1-888-544-9353 or customerservice@wwcares.org.

It is critical that you reconcile your payments and claims as soon as possible after payment is received. If for some reason you need to correct a claim that was submitted timely the first time but was denied, paid incorrectly, or the original billed amount needs to be increased due to additional units of service, it must be submitted within 30 days of its explanation of benefits (EOB) date from WPS to be considered for payment.
